Despite worldwide views about Robert Mugabe’s resignation circumstances, actually the ex-Zimbabwe ruler had seen it coming, according to a Roman Catholic priest, who brokered his exit.
The priest, who said had known Mugabe for decades, said that actually, Robert Mugabe wanted a gradual and smooth transition of power to Emmerson Mnangagwa, the vice-president he has recently fired and is now the new head of state.
