The Vice-President of the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) Octavian Mshiu regrets to announce the death of the association’s President Ndibalema John Mapanja which occurred yesterday in Dar es Salaam.
Mshiu said in the statement issued on behalf of the Board of TCCIA that, his boss passed away at his home in Mbezi Beach Africana area on the outskirts of Dar es Salaam city.
The statement further noted that, the burial arrangement of the deceased are being prepared and up to now no special report is yet issued, but the public should draw a little patience as this will be known early next week.
The statement further is quoted as saying that, during his lifetime, the late Ndibalema held several posts including the chairman of the East Africa Chamber of Commerce and a Board member of the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF).
In addition to that, he had also held the position of being a Board member of the Economic Processing Zones Authority (EPZA), National Construction Council (NCC), and the also the Board member of the National Business Council (NBC)
