He was speaking in parliament when responding to a question earlier raised by Tunduma legislator for Chama Cha Demokraisa na Maendeleo (Chadema) Frank Mwakanjika who wanted to know preps by the government to repair the rods damaged by the recent rains.

The minister said funds had already been set for the exercise and the repairs would soon commence.

A supplementary question raised by special seat legislator for Chama Cha Mapinduzi Amina Mollel queried on the fate of 53 people whose structures were demolished to pave the way for the construction of the road in Arusha region.
