Kenyan diaspora to fellows: ‘Get ready to receive any kind of results’

SOME Kenyan diaspora who are living in Dar es Salaam Tanzania have expressed their satisfaction about voting exercise today and urged their fellows to agree with the results

Speaking in Dar es Salaam a voter identified  as James said : “Im happy  with voting process here in  Dar e s Salaam , but I urge Kenyans to  be ready with any kind  of results  whether it is negative or positive ” .

He thanked the   Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for making sure that the diaspora are registred as voters.

For purposes of this year’s election, Kenyans living outside the country are able to register and participate in the elections.

The Commission conducted voter registration in Bujumbura in Burundi, Arusha and Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, Kigali in Rwanda, Kampala in Uganda and Pretoria in South Africa.

According to IEBC local official, there are 1,053 registered Kenyan diaspora living in Dar es Salaam and Arusha Tanzania.
