THE National Micro-Finance Bank (NMB) today donated equipment in various hospitals and schools in Musoma district worth Sh15mmillion.
NMB Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) Manager Lilian Kisamba said the donation will help to reduce a number of challenges facing the education and health sectors in the region.
The donation included 50 desks worth Sh5m to Mwisenge primary school in Musoma, a school the former president, the late Julius Nyerere went for his primary studies.
She said the bank also donated delivery beds, patients’ beds and a check-up machine for high blood pressures at Mugango health centre all worth Sh5m.
Officials from the bank also visited Kwibara primary school to have glimpse at the ongoing construction where they also donated Sh5m for the purchase of building materials.
Among the schools and health centres to benefit with the funds include Nyasho hospital and Kwibara, Bwai, Chanyauru, Busumi, Kiriba primary schools and Kiriba secondary school.
