Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Corporation (DAWASCO) has launched a new mobile phone technology App named ‘DawascoApp’ aimed to give a chance for its customers to utilize their handsets in obtaining information through their mobile phone.
Corporation’s Head of ICT Kiula Makalla said the new App will enable the customers not only to access information but also to submit their complaints and get feedback very fast.
“We have more than one million customers who will be benefited through the Application, hoping that their reports will and simplify our performance, as this App will quickly inform us on what to do on time,” Makalla told journalists at the corporation headquarters.
According to him, Dawasco launched the App to improve its services by using technology; and promised to work on the issue of leaking water as well as connecting water within seven days.
