Tanzania President Dr John Magufuli will host the Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi who is expected to land in Tanzania next week for the state visit.
A statement issued to the Media by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and East African Cooperation said Egyptian President’s visit aims at enhancing social, economic and cultural relationship between the two countries.
According to the statement, once arrived Al sisi will have a tete- a tete with his host before starts official tour which will be followed by state banquet.
The Egyptian President visits to Tanzania will be his first trip in Tanzania since President John Magufuli was elected and sworn in two years ago.
However, the statement, did not reveal as for how long will the Egyptian President stay in Tanzania.
The two countries collaborate in various sectors and the latter provide support in health, water and security.
According to Tanzania Investment Center, Egypt has registered a total of 8 big projects worth USD 887.02m and invested in agriculture, mining and service industry
