Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TANTRADE) has been advised to prepare all necessary things which are required for exhibitors before commencement of the coming Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF) in June 2018.
One of the exhibitor to the just ended DITF exhibition, Henry Massawe said there must be enough preparations before start of the exhibition in order to avoid unnecessary challenges facing exhibitors.
“The organizers of trade fair should make sure all exhibitors get their requirements at least two months before the event, early preparations will enable participants to conduct their activities smoothly,” he said
Massawe who is also Standards Officer at Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) said people still need more awareness regarding various business activities, it is responsibility to the authorities to educate them.
“We are doing the possible to educate people on the real meaning of standard…I can say that the level of awareness has increased among Tanzanians who visit our pavilion and ask questions during this year’s trade fair likened to last year,” he added.
DITF involves sectors of agricultural products, food and beverages, textiles, garments and yarns, manufacturing equipment, building materials, automobiles, electrical articles, chemicals and cosmetics, timber and furniture, trade services, engineering products, machinery, information technology, gift articles and handicrafts, consultancy and training.
