REUBEN Bulugu Kinamhala, a Bank of Africa (BOA) Tanzania customer at Mtoni branch in Dar es Salaam has emerged the lucky winner of a Sh10m cash prize in the bank’s deposit campaign dubbed ‘Daka Mkwanja.
He won following a raffle draw that was conducted at the bank’s head office on February 26, 2018, in the presence of senior Gaming Board of Tanzania inspector Bakari Maggid
Speaking at the handing over ceremony today at the bank’s head office, Muganyizi Bisheko, Bank of Africa-Tanzania’s Marketing Manager Research and Development said that the campaign represents a means for the bank to celebrate with customers its 10 years of operation in Tanzania, while creating the warm festive feelings.

Bisheko also said that the move reflects the bank’s commitment to raise awareness amongst the community about the importance of financial discipline and smart savings culture.
“The “DAKA MKWANJA” campaign was conducted for the period of 4 months, between November, 2017 to end of February, 2017, with the total cash prize of 10 million shillings for 1 lucky winner,” he said.
He added: “In the promotion, Individual Current Account, Business Current Account, Normal Savings Account, Ambition Saving Plan, Chama Account, Smart Junior Investor Account, Premium Plus Account, Private Employee Pack, Public Servant Pack and My Business Pack are eligible for individuals to deposit and grow their balances”
He pointed out that through the campaign, existing and new account holders entered directly to the grand raffle draw for every one million shillings that they will deposited in any of the above mentioned accounts.
Bisheko, went further said that the bank will launch another exciting deposit campaign, to run for the period of 4 months, from 7th March-30th June, with the same ambition of deepening a smart savings culture across the country.
