LOCAL contractors in Tanzania will now be able to use new technology in their daily activities, thanks to new partnership between the government and private sector.
Speaking in an interview, the Managing Director of Mantrac Tanzania, Hatem Farouk said the technology dubbed rent -to own CAT equipment would only serve local contractors.
He said the service is an excellent solution that allows customers to combine the benefits of using brand new Cat Equipment with the latest technology in their projects, without the commitment to outright purchase.
"This offer is to provide extra financial briefing room while minimizing customer’s operational cost. Customers are assured of faster equipment utilization by directly dealing with Mantrac Tanzania without any intermediary", he said.
According to him, the service helps contractors save cost while building equity; when customers decide to purchase the machines at the end of the rental period, with a lock on the machine purchase price and up to 80 percent of the charges paid during the rental period directed towards the payment of the Machine.
He further mentioned that the rent-to own is complementing the existing Cat Rental Store which delivers a consistent, convenient, one-stop-shopping experience by offering wide range of Machines for customers to select for their projects without much hassle.
Commenting on the offer the Machine Sales Manager at Mantrac Tanzania Lingyun Chen noted the Rent -to own offers minimal operational risk to customers with detailed maintenance schedule to avoid any down time or failure. The offer is applicable to all new and used machines depending on the customer’s preference.
