FORTY countries worldwide will take part in this year’s Swahili International Tourism Expo (SITE) to be held in Dar es Salaam this week.
Tanzania is the leading International indoor Tourism Expo, innovated and hosted by Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB).
According to organizers the expo to be opened by Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan will be held on 13th to 15th October at Julius Nyerere International Conference Center in Dar es Salaam.

They say S!TE 2017 is hosting approximate 150 exhibitors from more than 13 different African countries, including Tanzania Mainland, Zanzibar, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Mauritius and Seychelles.
The Expo focuses on inbound and outbound travel business to and within Africa. Hundreds of Travel & Tourism professionals from all over the world are expected during the expo days.
A well-managed Hosted Buyer program which showcases the travel possibilities in Tanzania – within & beyond the well-known attractions in 16 National Parks, around Mount Kilimanjaro and on the beautiful beach Island of Zanzibar.
Conservation & Sustainable tourism, as well as tropical tourism and traveling within East Africa, are additional subjects to be promoted during S!TE 2017.
