Deputy Minister of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Juliana Shonza has congratulated Ali Kiba for his Seduce Me music video that stays in line with the ethics of Tanzanian culture.
Juliana Shonza said today that they need to ban down all videos and songs that violate ethics. Meawhile, several artists have been suspended and other ordered to edit lyrics in their songs and scenes in their videos.
Hip Hop duo ROMA and Stamina (ROSTAM) have been ordered to change lyrics in their song 'Kiba100'.
She said Ali Kiba is a good example of the bongo flava stars who compose songs with good lyrics as well as ethical videos.
''Ali kiba released 'Seduce Me' song and many fans expected to see nudity in the video but it came contrary, it was the one of the best videos last year and through this, Ali Kiba proves he is a legend, she added"
Shonza who is also a special seats member of parliament has warned artists who release songs and videos that are unethical should change whatever that is unethical because it is not as an easy way to gain fans as they think and worst of all the law will follow them.
