Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc, whose name is known as "The Atlas of Beauty", has started to prove that her beauty can be found everywhere. She has traveled to 27 countries and turned her lens into "mysterious country" North Korea after completing her project.
The photographer, who has been blindfolded to the outside world, has shared his work on women in North Korea during the past days.
"I was very curious about the women in North Korea," Noroc said, describing the photographs taken by them as unique, as I realized that they lived in another world, far from global trends, and so I visualized how this concept of beauty evolved in their own territory.
Noting that many of the photographers have photographed a stranger in their lives for the first time in their lives, Noroc underlines that the project is also a scene for interesting moments for both sides.
North Korea, which has an isolated life, has a unique sense of beauty. However, Noroc says that women pay considerable attention to their external appearances, just like in any other country.
