Papii Kocha, Nguza Viking performs for first time after their release from prison

Papii Kocha and his father Nguza Viking also known as ‘Babu Seya’ staged a live performance Saturday following their release from a 14-year prison term last year.

The show was staged exactly 90 days after they were released through a presidential pardon by President John Magufuli, from a prison where they were serving a life sentence after they were found guilty of rape and child molestation charges.

The show was staged at the King Solomon Hall in Dar es Salaam.

The two artists performed for the first a new song 'Fanta, Salma na Seya, taking emotions of fans at the concert.

A number of famous movie stars and artists attended the concert including Wema Sepetu, Faiza Ally, Lina Sanga, Bushoke and Petiti Man.

Papii Kocha introduced his daughter at the concert for the first time and called her “Malkia wa Nguvu” to mean Strong Queen in English.

Bongo Flava artist also performed a number of his songs in support of Papii Kocha and his father Nguza Vikings.
