TANZANIA Bongo Flava music has grown and cross country borders into other African nations.
It is said that Bongo Flava is ranked second most loved music genre in Africa, after Nigerian music.
The presence of Ali Kiba and Diamond has catalysed the Tanzanian music into international recognition. The duo attracts huge audiences whenever and wherever they stage a live performance in Africa or abroad.
Tanzania has talented artists who have dominated the East and Central Africa music Industry for over a decade now.
With music comes fame, and with it, riches. We will be assessing Tanzania’s top music talents and their net worth estimates as of 2018. We will also be looking a bit at their history and music careers until they came to stardom.

Kiba started his music career seven years before Diamond Platnumz came to prominence.
But the rivalry between the two artists is well-documented. There are music fans in Tanzania who happens to be ultra-Diamond or ultra-Kiba, with their online antics about who is the best well known.
In recent months, the two superstars seem to start to mend their relationship, even suggesting to work together on a new song.
That was in 2002. By the time Diamond manages to ‘make his bones’ in the Bongo Flava arena, Kiba was a household name in Tanzania.
Kiba is among the biggest names in East Africa music arena, with more than 5 hit songs.
Kiba has many fans in the region, as revealed after MTV Emma awards when they made a mistake by awarding Nigeria’s Wizkid with an award meant for him.
Kiba fans however made sure MTV Emma knew of the mistake and return the award to 'King Kiba'.
Kiba owns two houses in the Dar es Salaam suburb of Tabata.
He won endorsement with Jamie Oliver Foundation in May 2017.
He is also a Wildlife Aid Ambassador, and a shareholder of the Roockstar4000.
Kiba also owns a house in Kigamboni suburb and apartments in Kariakoo.
It is also said that he owns an in Mombasa, Kenya and drives a posh BMW X5 vehicle.

The artist is ranked third in the artist rich list in Tanzania.
He real name is Judith Wambura.
She has done well in Tanzania music sector and a very respective artist who won the Channel O Music Awards for Tanzania in 2005.
Wambura started Bongo Flava music since 1998's.
She is the first female artist to make it big in Bongo Flava in the country.
She owns Machozi Band and has so many projects that generate s a lot of money besides owning Nyumbani LOUNGE

Joseph Haule (Professor Jay)
The Hip Hop artist turned politician has been the man behind Bongo artists development in Tanzania alongside his fellow politician ‘Sugu’ Joseph Mbilinyi for a number of years.
He launched his music career in the late 1990's, at the time the music had so many difficulties.
Back then, he used stage name 'Niga Jay' in before turning to Professor JAY.
Joseph Haule owns a recording studio and various shops and houses in Dar es Salaam and Morogoro.
He is estimated to have a net worth of $3.5 net worth.
Ambwene Yessaya a.k.a AY
He ranks the least in the top five rich artists in the country owning a Unity Entertainment Company and has an estimated worth asset of $2.7 million.
