Diamond Platinum has allowed artists who signed for Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) to work as broadcasters and anchors at his Radio and Wasafi Television Station.
Diamond Platnumz's sister , Queen Darlin said in an interview with a Kenyan Radio Station at the launch of his brother's "A boy from Tandale," album that the WCB management had allowed them to work as TV and Radio presenters but they made the decision to just focus on their music careers.
“The management gave us freedom to work as presenters at the Tevevion and Radio stations, but we sat down and decided to just focus on our music,” she said.
The Radio and TV stations have already received all authorisation from the Tanzania government and soon, broadcasting of programs may start.
Diamond said the TV aims at helping all artists in Tanzania because they have been facing difficulties for airtime in other media outlets.
Diamond released his his second album, "Aboy from Tandle," on Thursday and is currently trending with his single ‘Africa beauty’ featuring American singer Omari Ishmael Grandberry ‘Omarion’.
