For the Congolese music lovers in Tanzania, especially Dar es Salaam they will have a perfect treat to start the weekend at Escape One tonight.
Legendary Rhumba singer Werrason Ngiama Makanda will take on the stage to entertain music fans in the city.
Werrason owns a music band called ‘Wenge Maison Merre.’ The musician arrived in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday.
The entrance fee for the show is Tsh 50,000 for the VIP while normal entrance is Tsh 20,000.
The organizer of the show from Prime Time Promotions, Hamis Dakota said after the Dar es Salaam show Friday, Werrason with his band is expected to travel to Mwanza to entertain the Rock City fans.
Werrason released an amazing album 2017 named Kibuisa Mpimpa, containing songs like Kibuisa Mpipa (Opération Dragon), Extrait Remix, Malewa, and Satellite.
He was a founding member of once a famous band Wenge BCBG with their hit song Pentagon in 1990’s with his talented musicians like JB Mpiana, Allan Makaba, Didier Massela and Blaise Bula.
After separating with Wenge BCBG, Werrason has released his first album called Force D’Intervention Rapide, the second was ‘Solala Bien’ in 1999 while was doing an remembering show Sebene in 2002 called ‘Zenith’ that no any Congolese has done like that in Kinshasha.
