Tanzanian government has increased four ebola screening machines on enhance the showing for Ebola, to be established in the four borders surrounding the country.
The four screening machines will be allocated at Tanzania and Kenya boarders in Holoholo-Tanga and Silali-Mara whereas, the other will be placed in Uganda-Tanzania in Mutukula border as well as in Rusumo border of Tanzania-Rwanda.
Speaking at the press conference in Dar es Salaam today, Minister of Health, Social Development, Gender, Elderly and Children Ummy Mwalimu said that the aim of adding more screening machines is to control and diagnose the state of the transmission of travelers at the nation’s borders.
"One of the steps, we have taken as the Ministry of Health is to set monitoring system (Integrated disease available system) and to scan all the travelers in all borders,” she said.
