The government plans to upgrade Bunda hospital into a designated district hospital in the 2018/19 financial year, the Deputy Minister of State in President’s Office responsible for local government and regional administration (TAMISEMI) Josephat Kandege has said.

Kandege was responding to a question raised by a special seat legislator Agness Marwa (CCM) during a question and answers sessions in parliament today.

Agnes wanted to know the reasons for government failure from upgrading Manyamanyama health, centre located in Bunda district to the status of a district hospital as it has all the facilities required.
