THE Parliamentary Privileges, Ethics and Powers Committee has barred Kawe lawmaker Halima Mdee and Bunda MP Ester Bulaya, from opposition camp on attending all the remaining budget sessions until next year.
The house decision for barring Halima Mdee and Ester Bulaya on not attending all the remaining parliamentary sessions for what termed as contravention of the house standing, was graced by the House Speaker.
The house speaker Job Ndugai directed the Parliamentary Privileges, Ethics and Powers Committee to investigate and come up with decision on the involvement of Chadema’s duo MPs who convoluted on Kibamba MP John Myika ‘collision’ with the Speaker.
Mdee and Bulaya marched out of the house after the Speaker’s order of kicking out the Kibamba legislator John Mnyika.
However, Kawe MP was also accused of trying to block Sergeant at Arms from kicking out Mnyika.
Mnyika was kicked out from the parliament on Friday after denying the Speaker’s order that needed him to stop talking.
The incident happened when they were debating about the Energy and Minerals budget estimates, of which almost all opposition MPs were blasted on President Magufuli’s decision on mineral sand exports.
