Kenya’s Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i has told administrations of Kenyatta University and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology to shut down their campuses in Tanzania and Rwanda.
The decision comes shortly after the government of Tanzania stopped the two universities from Kenya and 17 others from admitting students in the coming academic year of 2017/18 due to what said for universities to lack qualities in registering students.
On another move, Kenya said that its 20 companies have been blocked on bringing their products and goods to Tanzania.
