Aaron Ramsey will leave Arsenal after the club pulled an offer of a new contract, the agency representing the player have confirmed.

Wales international Ramsey, 27, is a free agent at the end of the season and talks over a new deal have collapsed.

It is likely he will leave the North London club in the January transfer window, as Arsenal would rather sell than lose him for nothing, as revealed by Mirror Football least month.

Ramsey had been in protracted talks with the club over a new deal, but the new hierarchy at the Emirates are electing to head in a different direction - and Ramsey doesn't feature in their plans.

Now the player's agents, Avid Sports & Entertainment Group, have confirmed on social media that Ramsey has no future at the club, after being called out by a supporter when announcing the Welshman had become an ambassador for a private jet company.

And they state, in tweets that have since been deleted, that while Ramsey didn't want to leave, the club has made it's decision and "there is no other option".

One reply declares: "There is nothing we can do...the club made a decision."

Another states: "He didn't want to leave, but now there is no other option."

Liverpool are keen to take Ramsey to Anfield in January, as Jurgen Klopp looks to further bolster his squad.

Mirror Sport recently revealed that Reds manager Klopp tried to sign him during the last transfer window.

Italian champions Juventus are watching the situation also, while outgoing Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis will recommend that his new club AC Milan should step in.

And reports in Spain have also suggested that European champions Real Madrid could make a push to team him up with international teammate Gareth Bale at the Santiago Bernabeu.
