Gary Neville believes Alexis Sanchez is set to replace Romelu Lukaku as Manchester United's main centre-forward.
But the former Red Devils defender doesn't believe this will be the end of the road for the Belgian international, who the Red Devils signed for £75million at the start of the season.
Lukaku kick-started his Manchester United career in sensational form, and stormed to the top of the Premier League goal-scoring table.
He suffered a dip in form as the Christmas period arrived, and has been unable to stop the rot that has seen him net just twice in his last eight league appearances.
Jose Mourinho responded to Lukaku's poor form this January, swapping Henrikh Mkhitaryan with then Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.
The Belgian has kept his place in the United first team following the Chilean's arrival, and it was hoped that Sanchez would be able to strike a partnership with Lukaku.
But that hasn't happened, and Neville now fears that the Belgium international will lose his place to Sanchez as United's main centre-forward.
"I think Lukaku has done well but there comes a point where you'd think Sanchez would go up top and you'll see Lukaku come out the team," said Neville, speaking on Sky Sports Super Six.
The former Red Devils right-back doesn't believe a shake up in attack will have a negative impact on Lukaku nor the team however, as it will provide the perfect opportunity for the Belgian to take a step back and, hopefully, recapture his form.
