Antonio Conte has outlined that his side must be more confidence and strong when they will play Barcelona in the Champions League round 16.
Chelsea qualified to the FA Cup quarterfinals last night with a comfortable 4-0 win over Hull.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was able to rest the likes of Eden Hazard and N’golo Kante heading into Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Barcelona.
Barcelona are hoping to progress to the next round over two legs with Chelsea but Conte’s side will be hoping to cause an upset against Ernesto Valverde’s team.
The Blues undoubtedly face the toughest task of all English sides to make it through to the quarter-finals and were handed the tough draw in large part because they were the only British team to not top their group.
But Conte tell the Express his side must enter the game with confidence and not be scared of their oppositions.
“To play against Barcelona is a great challenge,” Conte said.
“This type of game give us great enthusiasm and must be excited.
“They are one of the best team in the worlds.
“In one side you must be sad to play them but on the other hand you must be excited and you must try to compete with them on this level.
“We must have the right confidence,” he added.
