Shkodran Mustafi has revealed how Arsenal can implement Unai Emery's style and improve defensively.
The Gunners made it two successive league wins with victory at Cardiff City on Sunday afternoon, however, their defence came in for criticism again after conceding two goals against the Premier League newboys.
Prior to the game, the Bluebirds failed to score in the league and Arsenal have now conceded eight goals in the Premier League this season from only four games.
Last season, they had the worst defence out of the top seven and this term only the likes of Fulham, Burnley, Huddersfield Town and West Ham have let in more in the league.
Emery has brought in new defenders in Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Stephan Lichtsteiner to strengthen at the back but have yet to show signs of improvement with the team still trying to get to grips with his high pressing style which has often left the defence exposed.

The Gunners have shown the same defensive frailties evident during recent seasons but Mustafi has called for patience whilst they continue to learn a new philosophy under a different regime.
“It’s a process,” he told Arsenal Player. “We have tried everything in pre-season but then when you make a mistake in pre-season it’s not that bad.
“In the Premier League you don’t want to make those mistakes, but you have to show your personality because we are a big football club with big players."
The German is also adamant that the team will get it right and has called for his colleagues to show character - especially when starting attacks from the back.
“We have to show the personality that we can play from the back because that’s our football and that’s how it suits us to play," he continued.
“We just have to keep working on that. Hopefully, in a few games, we’re going to look a bit more comfortable.”
