Arsenal are prepared to sell Hector Bellerin for £50m in order to revamp their squad this summer.

The Spaniard has recaptured some of his best form in recent months but his high market value could force the Gunners into selling, report the Mail.

Manchester City showed interest last summer, but Kyle Walker's arrival means they are unlikely to emerge as candidates again.

The right-back is being monitored by Juventus though, but the £50m price tag could prove problematic.

Bellerin was embroiled in a war of words with Troy Deeney, after the Watford striker missed a penalty at the Emirates, with the 22-year-old hitting back after having his hair mocked in the reverse fixture earlier in the season

Stories from Tuesday's Daily Mirror

Newcastle will try to land on-loan Chelsea winger Kenedy on a permanent deal. Rafa Benitez would have to pay up to £15m for the Brazilian.

Tottenham and England will have to sweat it out for a further 24 hours before learning the seriousness of Harry Kane's ankle injury. Kane was expected to have a scan on Monday after he suffered suspected ligament damage in the 4-1 Sunday win at Bournemouth. But the injury was too swollen to be assessed. Spurs’ medical team will wait until that has eased before Kane undergoes tests, now pencilled in for Wednesday, which will determine for how long he will be sidelined.

West Brom want embattled Alan Pardew to slog on despite planning to name a new boss in the summer. Pardew is a deadman walking at the top-flight's basement side after just one in 16 Premier League games, and has lost the support of Albion's players.

Ashley Young will be given a chance to stake his claim for a place in England’s World Cup squad. Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate wants to call up versatile Manchester United star Young, 32, for this month's friendlies with Italy and Holland when he names the squad on Thursday.

Juventus have insisted others teams are still in the running to sign Liverpool’s Emre Can this summer. Midfielder Can's contract at Anfield expires at the end of the season. Italian giants Juve are ready to offer the 24 year-old the chance to join one of Europe's biggest clubs. But they insist that they are not the only ones in the running for the German international's signature.

Michael Carrick has confirmed he will retire from playing at the end of the season after 12 years at Manchester United. The midfielder, who turns 37 in July, said: "There comes a time, whether you like it or not, that your body tells you it's time to stop playing football. That's pretty much where I'm at."
