Azam FC are now looking for a new striker to replace Ghanaian player Yahaya Muhamed after announced termination of his contract.
According to Azam FC, Information Officer, Jaffar Idd, the club has seen it necessary to part away with Muhamed after a mutual disagreement between the two parties.
“Let me take this chance to inform you that Yahaya Muhamed is no longer a member of our team and he was expected to leave the country yesteday to native country Ghana,” Idd said.
He added: “Azam will surely miss the service of Muhamed who was instrumental during the Mapinduzi Cup tournament held in Zanzibar. He was also the first player to open our team’s scoreboard this season”.
However, the club’s communications boss said series of injuries sustained by the Ghanaian put him out of form this season.
“Azam FC is now looking for Muhamed’s replacement from wherever provided he is able to score goals for the term,” Idd Added.
