WILLIAN has admitted Chelsea will be powerless to stopping Lionel Messi doing “whatever he wants” in their crunch Champions League clash in Barcelona this evening (7.45pm).
The Brazilian gave Chelsea the lead in the first leg only for Messi to level the scores and give Barcelona the away-goal advantage heading into tonight’s match.
The Blues have never beaten Barcelona in the Nou Camp in eight attempts but they have also remained unbeaten in their last four games there.
Their latest result in Barcelona’s stadium was the infamous 2-2 back in 2012 on their way to winning the Champions League.
Only Gary Cahill remains at Chelsea from that squad but Antonio Conte will take heart from his side’s positive performance at Stamford Bridge three weeks ago.

The Argentina international has scored 32 goals in 41 games as well as providing 16 assists.
And Willian admits Chelsea will have to be on their toes at all times to keep a close eye on Messi.
"We know the quality of Messi. We know the quality of Barcelona,” Willian said.
