CRISTIANO RONALDO has reportedly discovered Lionel Messi wants Barcelona to sell Andre Gomes at the end of the season.
Messi put pen to paper on a new contract earlier this term, tying him down at the Nou Camp until 2021.
And with that agreement he gained increased influence over Barcelona’s transfer business going forward.
Messi is thought to have put pressure on club chiefs to complete a deal to sign Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool last month.
And the latest reports suggest Ronaldo has learned his La Liga rival is keen for one of his compatriots to be sold in the summer.
According to Don Balon, Ronaldo knows Messi has put a cross by Gomes’ name as Barcelona plan for next season.

Having seen Barcelona fight off Real Madrid to sign him, Gomes is supposedly the subject of no serious offers.
And Barcelona are likely to hold out for a large chunk of the £31m (€35m) they paid Valencia for him in 2016.
Gomes was introduced as a late substitute when Ernesto Valverde’s side drew 1-1 with Chelsea on Tuesday night.
And he’ll be hoping to get more minutes than that Champions League cameo provided when Barcelona play Girona tomorrow.
