MARCELO has reportedly told Florentino Perez that if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Real Madrid then he will also pack his bags and go.
The Portuguese superstar helped Real win their third Champions League trophy in a row after a 3-1 win against Liverpool.
It has made them the first team in the modern era to do so, securing a fourth title in five years in the process.
The 33-year-old was not at the peak of his powers in the final, but his 15 goals in the competition propelled Los Blancos to the trophy.
But it was his comments made afterwards still in Kiev that have reverberated around the world.
"Now is the time to enjoy this," Ronaldo said on television after the game.
"And in the coming days you will have my answer to the fans, the ones who have really been on my side.
"It has been very nice being at Real Madrid."
t has led to reports that Ronaldo will leave the club, but he will not be the only one to go if that move goes through.
That is according to Don Balon, who have reported that the Brazil international has put a huge ultimatum to Real chief Perez.
Marcelo and Ronaldo have a particularly strong relationship at Madrid, who have played on the left flank for a number of years.
Furthermore, Perez has assured the 30-year-old that he has no intention of letting Ronaldo go, report Don Balon.
