CRISTIANO RONALDO has sent a message to voters of the European Sportsperson of the Year award.
The Portuguese star picked up the gong for the second successive year at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai last night.
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane also picked up Best European Coach after guiding his side to five trophies in 2017.
Cristiano Ronaldo clinched his fifth Ballon d’Or this year - taking him level with Barcelona's Lionel Messi - and was named the No1 footballer in the world at FIFA’s ‘The Best’ awards.
And speaking after picking up his latest honour, Ronaldo called on his supporters to keep voting so he can make it a hat-trick of triumphs in 2018.

And when asked where he would keep the trophy, he replied: “Don't worry I have a lot of space.”
