Arsenal playmaker Alexis Sanchez will be out of contract in the summer and he may end up leaving the Emirates in the upcoming winter transfer window.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then the North Londoners are looking to replace the Chilean by signing a top German attacker in the form of PSG’s Julian Draxler.
The Gunners have been linked with the former Schalke playmaker for quite some time and now, reports in Spain (Don Balon) indicate that Arsenal are close to securing an exchange deal with Paris Saint-Germain that would see Alexis moving to France and Draxler would join Wenger’s team.
The Spanish source have mentioned that Brazilian superstar Neymar requested the signing of Sanchez for Julian a long time ago.
Draxler joined the Ligue 1 giants back in January 2017 but after the arrival of Neymar, he has warmed the bench at times and/or played in a not so preferred midfield position.
This season, so far, the 24-year-old star has featured in 23 games for PSG, scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists.
Two days back, the Sun covered an exclusive report and claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to let Julian leave for a fee of 40 million pounds ($54million).
