Don Bosco Chess Club says it has prepared adequately and is ready for this weekend Zanaki Chees Academy Tournament.
Don Bosco head coach Louis Kara said the team had been preparing well for the weekend tournament and he hopes his charges will perform well.
Speaking in an interview with Azania Post in Dar es Salaam,said as head coach he was delighted with his team that has been assembled ahead of the monthly event.
“I’m very confident of the team because we have assembled. The input the players are putting in during trainings is very encouraging. It is fantastic to work with this young players, they are good and are enjoying the game,” he said.
The Zanaki Chess Academy tournament is becoming popular among young players in Dar es Salaam, the recent event attracted more than 100 young players, and Don Bosco emerged overall winner.
Don Bosco chess team has produced some of the top local young players like Cleopas Charles who has represented the country at many international events.
