Donald Ngoma will not be available in today’s game Yanga against Walaita Ditcha at National Stadium after suffering a further injury setback.
According to Yanga assistance coach Shadrack Nsajigwa said that the player has suffered a new injury and he is unavailable for selection to feature in the game.
Ngoma has not seen action since October 2017 and has been a long-term absentee.
He just returned to his side’s first team training only this week but succumbed to a new injury.
“Ngoma is not available today as he got another injury that we will not use him,” he said.
Amis Tambwe is also unavailable as he is not fit to play although he has no injury, according to Nsajigwa.
Also, Mainland defending champion Yanga Sports Club will miss four key towards to the African Confederation Cup will cause so much disaster as in the very important game against Waleita Ditcha FC of Ethiopia.
Kelvin Yondani this is very important defender played in his quality for the 10 years without tired few of Tanzania players who play more than ten years.
The absence of Yondani will mean Yanga Captain Nadir Haroub will take his place at the heart of the Jangwani side’s defense.
Papy Tshishimbi, Congolese defensive midfielder playing for Yanga Sports Club will not be available to the squad against Waleita Ditcha April 7, 2018, it may be a problem for Yanga as his performances since he signed to the club is very important.
Yanga will struggle, as another defensive midfielder is also unavailable in the form of Said Makapu. The player is suspended by CAF after receiving two yellow cards.
Pato Ngonyani will have to step up and take a mantle of steel in the Yanga engine room because of his recent impressive performances for the club.
Zambian striker Obrey Chirwa will not available to the squad as well, the power of Chirwa, how he makes it on the pitch but will not available due to suspension.
The Yanga technical bench will have to decide who will have to take responsibility to lead the side’s attack in the absence of their Zambian talisman.
Confederation of Africa Football sent a letter to Yanga and Waleita Ditcha, to warn that the players that are suspended are not allowing playing.
Visitors Waleita Ditcha will miss two key players including their captain Teklu Tafese Kumma and Eshetu Mena Medelecho.
Waleita Ditca doctor Getahum told Azania Post that they missing their captain but every player is good to fight for the victory.
“We are missing our captain but everyone can fight to win,” he said.
