Eden Hazard to Barcelona: Chelsea star 'makes transfer decision' and informs agent

EDEN HAZARD has reportedly told his representatives that he wants a move to Barcelona after they made him their top priority signing.

The Belgium captain has recently been dumped out of the World Cup by France after a 1-0 loss in the semi-finals.

And he will be given extra time from Chelsea to recover - but it is now the prime time for teams like Barca and Real Madrid to snoop around.

Hazard has been almost begging the Bernabeu club to snatch him up this summer after a disappointing year at the Blues.

The west London side capitulated late last season to see them finish fifth in the Premier League, meaning they will play Europa League football next year.

And t The former Lille forward has made no secret about his adulation of Real but arch-rivals Barcelona have emerged as serious contenders.

And reports in Spain have now claimed they have gone from contenders to a genuine threat - with Hazard telling his representatives to facilitate a transfer.he 27-year-old is anything but keen to ply his trade in Europe's secondary competition.

Sport report that because of the botched deal for Antoine Griezmann, the Catalan club have moved onto other targets.

Despite a front-line that already boasts the like of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho, chief Josep Bartomeu is keen to add to his firepower.

And with both parties are interested, the pressure will be on Chelsea to let go of their star man.

The Blues have no intention of letting their most prized asset go - especially after sacking Antonio Conte.

Though it has yet to be confirmed by the club, Maurizio Sarri has been strongly touted to take over at Stamford Bridge.
