World Football Organ (FIFA), President Gian Infantino will visit Tanzania for the first time where he will chair the FIFA Summit on February 22nd at Julius Nyerere International Convention Center.
Fifa Summit which is the second largest meeting for the football organ will be held for the first time in Tanzania and will attract football official 19 FIFA member countries.
Infantino will be accompanied by CAF president Ahmad Ahmad, Fifa vice chairman, Fifa General Secretary plus Fifa and CAF excutive committees members.
The agenda of the summit will be various Fifa projects well known as Fifa Forward Programme, Youth soccer and Women soccer. Others are fifa calendar, improving Fifa and members relations and their priorities.
Participants are Bahrain, Palestina, Saudi Arabia, United Arabs Emirates (UAE), Algeria, Burundi, Central Africa, Ivory Coast, Mali, Morocco, Niger, Tunisia, Bermuda, Monserrat, St. Lucia, Us Virgin, Maldives, Congo Brazzaville and hosting nation Tanzania.
Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) president Wallace Karia said that the federation is proud of hosting the big meeting and that is due to TFF good relationship and world football stakeholders.
