Dar es Salaam Young Africans (Yanga SC) said they will make a surprise signing before player registration closes next week with the Club linking Azam FC utility defender Hamid Mao to the Jangwani based side’
Hussein Nyika, Yanga’s registration committee chairman told Azania Post that discussions with the prospect players are almost complete.
But when asked if Hamid Mao is among the players, Nyika could not confirm or deny, but saying it will be a surprise signing which will shock many people.
Hamid Mao who still have a contract with Azam FC has been linked to a move to the Jangwani based side who are in the process of strengthening there squad.
The club has so far signed former Serengeti Boys keeper Ramadhani Kabwili, African Lyon keeper Rostand , Gadiel Michael from Azam, Abdallah Haji Shaibu from Taifa Jangombe, Pius Buswita from Mbao FC, Rafael Daudi Mbeya FC and Kabamba Tshishimbi from Mbabane Swallows of Swaziland.
