Barcelona star Lionel Messi ‘does not want’ THREE players at club after shock Levante loss
Lionel Messi is fuming after Barcelona's loss to Levante
The Catalan club have already secured a La Liga title after romping to a massive lead over second-placed Atletico Madrid.
But they had the chance to go the season unbeaten, a feat the side have never managed in their history.
However, they suffered a shock defeat by the hands of Levante at Estadi Ciutat de Valencia - who beat the Spanish giants 5-4 in a thrilling penultimate match of the season.
Barca were unable to call on the services of Messi, who was not in the squad for the game.
And despite a Philippe Coutinho hat-trick and Luis Suarez penalty, the Granotas held on to claim a famous victory to deny Barcelona making history.
Lionel Messi - Only player to score 40+ club goals in eight consecutive seasons
And sensational reports in Spain have revealed the full extent of Messi’s fury, who has lost all confidence in certain members of the squad.
Ousmane Dembele, Nelson Semedo and Yerry Mina did not perform as is expected in a Blaugrana shirt, and according to Don Balon, Messi does not want them at the club next season.
Ousmane Dembele is one Barcelona star singled out by Lionel Messi
The trio are all relatively new signings, with Dembele and Semedo arriving in the summer whilst Colombian Mina joined in January.
French winger Dembele became the second-most expensive player of all time at the time he joined Ernesto Valverde’s side but has been linked with a move away.
With Antoine Griezmann reportedly close to joining, Dembele’s first-team chances could become even more limited.
Liverpool have been linked with the former Borussia Dortmund ace - but Barcelona would want to recoup what they paid for the 20-year-old.
Barca face Real Sociedad in the final match of the Spanish domestic season, with neither club having anything to play for.
