Ibrahim Ajib continued his brilliant start to life at Dar es Salaam Young Africans (Yanga) as he managed to get on the score sheet against Ndanda fc in fourth round Vodacom Premier League (VPL) at Uhuru Stadium on Saturday.
Ajib scored the only goal of the game, 35 minutes of the first half in a bicycle kick. Ajibu’s form should really come as no surprise given his tremendous form at Simba SC last season, for whom he scored 7 league goals.
The 21-year-old got off to a good start at Jangwani side with a brace against Njombe Mji, the second match after unveiled on 2017/18 VPL's match against Lipuli.
The win against Ndanda makes Yanga to record 8 points, the same to rivals Simba SC who are upfront with goal differences.
Jangwani Boys had created little chances in today’s game but showed their ruthless manipulator streak when Ibrahim Ajib scored in box of the area, converting his team's first clear chance on goal.
Ajib have two goals now for the race of golden boot. Yanga fans still waiting more good things for the player.
