Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) elections is amid high tension as the nation’s football's governing body hold it's elections in Dodoma, the capital city.

The Minister of Information Culture, Artist and Sports Harrison Mwakyembe has launched the TFF elections, urging the new administration to uplift the Tanzanian football to the next step.

Mwakyembe invited all elections candidates including Shija Richard, Wallace Karia, Ally Mayay, Fredrick Mwakalebela and Imani Madega who are vying for presidential post. Tanzania Football Federation elections held every 4 years.

TFF elections kick starts with powerbroker Jamali Malinzi off the ballot after alleged on mismanaging the confederation fund with his secretary general Celestine Mwesigwa, who are are all still in detention for lawsuit.
