Simba SC head coach Joseph Omog said he is impressed with his team performance in three international strength testing matches the team has played so far.
The Msimbazi based side played two games against South Africa premier league teams, Orlando Pirates and Bidvest.
Simba lost to Orlando pirates 1-0 and draw 1all against Bidvest. On Tuesday the team hosted Rayon sports of Rwanda.
In a monitored radio interview, head coach said the three games has given him the opportunity to assess his players ahead of the Vodacom premier leagues.
He said he has enough players at his disposal and what remains of him and his technical bench is to come up with best combinations.
"My players are ready for the league, everyone has seen for himself that we have players who are good, what it remains of me is to come up with combinations "said the coach.
He said he will work on few areas like coordination and scoring.
"The team has not been together for a long time, but they are people who are ready for any occasion and challenge, “he said.
Omog failed short of hailing individual players during the match, saying everyone was at his best as they played according to instructions which they were given.
Coach Joseph Omog and his technical bench must use the remaining days to polish the team especially the striking force.
During the Rayon game, Simba was played well from the back to midfield only the strikers Emanuel Okwi were lacking coordination.
This made the team to Miss a lot of clear scoring opportunities.
