Tanzania Football Federation Discipline Committee has slapped a five match suspension and a 500,000 Tanzanian Shillings fine on Kagera Sugar defender Juma Nyoso due to disciplinary issues.
Nyoso appeared to be irked by fans after his side’s 2-0 loss against Simba in January.
He was arrested by the police in Bukoba, after failing to compose himself and beat a fan unconscious.
After spending a few weeks in jail for the incident, he was released on bail Wednesday.
The player was also suspended two years ago for violent behaviour in a football match.
