Kilimanjaro Stars in tough clash against Zanzibar Heroes this afternoon

KILIMANJARO Stars will face their relatives Zanzibar Heroes today afternoon Thursday December 7, 2017  in ongoing CECAFA senior tournament at Machako Stadium in Kenya.

Kilimanjaro Stars will be without their striker Mbaraka Yusuph who was injured on Sunday at goalless draw against Libya.

Zanzibar are looking more strong after they gun down Rwanda ‘Amavubi’ 3-1 on Tuesday .

According to Kili Stars  Coach Ammy Ninje he  will miss a services of strong striker who is in his planning always.

“It’s a tough game to us, we need three points and I am sure today  we need results.

“I was in the stadium on Tuesday  to see Zanzibar when playing Rwanda, they are in good performance,” said Ninje.

Kilimanjaro Squad:

Goalkeepers: Aishi Manula (Simba SC), Peter Manyika junior (Stand United).

Defenders: Gadiel Michael (Yanga Africans), Boniface Maganga (Mbao FC), Kenneth Juma (Singida United), Kelvin Yondani (Yanga Africans), Mohamedi Hussein (Simba SC), Erasto Nyoni (Simba SC).

Others are Himid Mao (Azam FC) Captain, Hamisi Abdallah, Mzamiru Yassin (Simba Sports Club), Raphael Daudi (Yanga) and Abdull Hillary (Tusker FC), Shiza Kichuya (Simba Sports Club) Ibrahim Ajibu (Yanga Africans), Jonas Mkude (Simba Sports Club).

 Strikers: Elius Maguli (Dhofar FC), Mbaraka Yusuphu (Azam FC) Yohana Mkomora (Serengeti Boys) and Dany Lyanga (Fanja FC - Oman).

Technical bench is formed by Ninje, assistant coach Fulgence Novatus, goalie coach Patrick Mwangata, team manager Danny Msangi and team doctor Richard Yomba.
