Julen Lopetegui has decided to maintain Zinedine Zidane's pre-season planning and Real Madrid's preparations are set to take place at their training ground in Valdebebas, Madrid.
Then, Los Blancos will travel to the United States to face Mexican club Pueblaon July 28, before they participate in the International Champions Cup.
In the pre-season tournament they will play against Manchester United on July 31, Juventus on August 4, and Roma three days later.
Soon after, Real will return to Spain to prepare for the UEFA Super Cup against Atletico Madrid - a game which will take place in Tallinn on August 15.
Following his presentation on Thursday, Lopetegui visited his club's sports centre, accompanied by his assistant, Pablo Sanz, and his fitness coach, Oscar Caro.
The former Spain coach also attended several meetings with different departments of the club, such as the team management, technical analysts, doctors, and chefs.
