ANTHONY MARTIAL will not sign for Bayern Munich this summer, despite reports suggesting otherwise.
The German giants were the latest club to be linked with the Manchester United wantaway over the weekend.
Bayern will soon say goodbye to wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery as they near the end of their careers.
But Martial will not be the man to replace them this summer, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk.
Replying to a Bayern fan asking about new arrivals on Twitter, he responded: "No. The club has decided that there are enough players for the Wings in the squad @FCBayern."
Martial has also attracted interest from the likes of Juventus and PSG in recent weeks, while Premier League rivals Tottenham are reportedly refusing to meet the 22-year-old's valuation.
Speaking recently, the player's agent Philippe Lamboley told RMC Sport: “After thinking about all the factors and possibilities, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United.
"There are lots of factors, and right now it’s too early to talk about them.
"Manchester United want Anthony to extend his deal and do not want him to leave but we have not reached an agreement for several months.
“I think that when Manchester United, the most powerful club in the world, do not find an agreement after eight months of negotiations then they do not really want to keep such an important player in their squad.
"That’s why this decision has come – it’s a well-thought-out decision."
The Frenchman fell down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho this season, subsequently missing out on a place at the World Cup.
