Manchester United are considering a summer move for Douglas Costa, according to reports.
According to The Sun manager Jose Mourinho would be prepared to sanction a £79m move for the Bayern Munich winger if Juventus decline the option to make his current loan spell permanent.
The Serie A champions paid £7m up front for the Brazilian winger last summer and have an agreement in place to sign him for a further £33m this year.
However, it is suggested Mourinho will be ready and waiting should he become available in the coming months.
In other transfer news, United are linked with a move for Mario Mandzukic.
Sky Italia suggest Mourinho make an approach for the Juventus forward in the coming weeks as he looks to strengthen his forward line.
It is believed United would like to bring in another recognized central striking option to relieve the pressure on top-scorer Romelu Lukaku.
According to the report, Juventus would be happy to see the Croatian forward leave in the summer as they look to rejuvenate their aging squad.
The 32-year-old managed 27 league appearances for the Serie A champions this season and his experience in the Champions League could be a valuable addition to the current squad.
However, it is also believed a move to China could be on the cards for Mandzukic and it is suggested he would only move to Old Trafford if he was available at a bargain price.
