Manchester United are believed to have opened talks regarding a possible January move for Chelsea defender David Luiz, according to reports.
Having barely featured for the Premier League champions since the the end of October due to a knee injury, the Brazilian returned to action on Saturday as the Blues drew 0-0 with Norwich City in the FA Cup.
Talk of the defender moving on has been doing the rounds for the past month or so, especially after falling out of favour with Antonio Conte.
The Red Devils are one of the clubs that have been linked with a move for the player, and now, according to CaughtOffside, Jose Mourinho has reportedly begun talks regarding a potential move to Old Trafford.
It has been reported that no fee has been agreed between the two clubs, although the prospect of Luiz moving to Manchester may not happen given the recent comments between Conte and Mourinho.
CaughtOffside also report that the Blues wouldn't want to sell to a rival club, thus making a move to Arsenal very unlikely.
However, breaking back into the team in the league may be hard following Andreas Christensen'sstunning form at the heart of defence.
