Mapinduzi Cup defending champions Azam FC has proved that they want to retain their title after smashing Jamuhuri 4-0.
Newly signed Ghanaian striker, Benard Arthur showing a brilliant performance after scoring the first goal at 26th minute to give azam the lead to half time.
In the second half, Salmin Hoza scored the second goal at 47th minute, Yayha Zayd score 7 minutes later before Paul Peter netted the last goal at the 79th minute.
Azam FC Information Officer, Jaffar Idd Maganga outlined that the game was tough but our squad was the strongest and good preparation brough positive results.
“We are here to retain trophy, players' sprit is high and that is what makes our squad advantageous to any team,” he said.
