Tanzania International Mbwana Samatta, who plays for KRC Genk on Sunday helped his Belgian team to qualify for the Europa League next season.
KRC Genk were playing against Zulte Waregen and Samatta's goal helped Genk to qualify for the tournament.
Genk won 2-0 with Samatta scoring the first goal after 18 minutes of the game, and the second came on the 28th minute by Here Uroren and was enough to qualify for the second tier of the European club competition. The Spanish powerhouses Atletico Madrid are the defending Champions.
Samatta may face English opposition with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal expected to take part in the tournament. It will be the second successive season that Samatta will be playing in Europe.
Last season Tanzania captain Mbwana Samatta netted 5 goals in Europa League that is a very good performance for the striker.
