May, the month of football, is over. June, the month of transfers, is here.
As the world gets set for a little well-known tournament over in Russia in less than two weeks, club football fans continue to cast eyes towards the transfer window and see what awaits them.
There is plenty of speculation. Here is the latest round-up of transfer gossip surrounding Liverpool - with our writer's take on whether they will fit in at Anfield.

Who? Chelsea goalkeeper with just a year remaining on his Stamford Bridge contract.
Where? Initially reports in Italy - most notably Gianluca Di Marzio - although the Mirror now suggest Liverpool would be interested if given the opportunity.
Kristian says: Most clubs in the world would be interested in Courtois, especially given his current contract situation.
Liverpool are searching for a goalkeeper but Courtois seems set for a move to Madrid, either Real or Atletico if he moves at all.

Who? Atletico Madrid's main man between the sticks, largely considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Where? The Mirror once more. As part of their Courtois speculation, they suggest the Belgian could go to Atletico - leaving the door open for Liverpool to bid for Oblak.
Kristian says: There is no doubt Liverpool want a goalkeeper, and his name should be in any conversation. But, for now, Alisson of Roma remains the club's primary target.

Who? Barcelona's exciting young forward, whom they signed from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
Where? Over in Spain, and Mundo Deportivo to be precise.
They claim Jurgen Klopp has contacted the Frenchman himself to detail his desire of signing him, and will happily accept a year-long loan deal rather than a permanent transfer.
Kristian says: Klopp laughed off the links with Dembele last month, and loan deals are not something Klopp - or Liverpool - often partakes in.
Mundo Deportivo's strike-rate isn't the greatest, either.
Who? Shakhtar Donetsk's Brazilian attacking midfielder, who is available on a free this summer.
Where? Italian journalist Andersinho Marques, who works for television channel PremiumSportHD. He claims Arsenal and clubs from the Chinese Super League are also interested.
Kristian says: He is the stand-out name on the list of summer Bosmans - Emre Can aside, of course - and would offer an option across the front three.
